Cruel, cruel irony
I had to pop up to St Albans today, to drop my son's Blackberry into O2 for repair. It's still quite new but he's managed to damage the screen such that it's not really usable; apparently it's going to cost me the best part of a ton to have it fixed.
I wasn't to please afterwards, but as I wandered around the shops I noticed an ice cream van and decided to ease my woes with a 99. I think I must had quickened my pace in my excitement, as next thing I knew I was flying forward, making quite heavy contact with the corner of a cast iron bin and generally making myself look like an idiot. The result? I've only just replaced the pearl, and now I'm going to have to source another insert. It's probably fair to say that I'm pretty pissed off about it, but at least the crystal was spared. PS: can anyone point me in the direction of good sources for fat font inserts?

Sorry to hear that Tony. I can sympathize. I dropped my red sub after I had just polished it with a clean rag. The only reason I dropped it is I was being "careful" not to put a thumbprint on it. Talk about irony!

Glad the crystal was spared. Maybe you can find a FF bezel. That would make you feel better

Thanks for the empathy/sympathy guys. Already put out a WTB for a FF replacement so we'll see what turns up.

I'm so sorry. I am sure that you were gutted when it happened.
It will not be long and your watch will be back to perfect!!! A FF insert will look great on the watch

Ouch. But, you could have dented the bezel itself. At least, you hit the cheap part.

Have you tried to have it fixed. Perhaps the dent can be fixed from behind, so that it will be a lot nicer, and still have some "battle scars"
If you are going to replace it anyway, it couldn´t hurt to try |
