Bezel Insert TOOL
While chatting with my watchmaker yesterday, he mentioned that there is a special tool to remove and install vintage bezel inserts.
Is there some magic tool that I am unaware of? I always popped them out with a piece of tape and case opener for the bezel, and my fingers for the insert? Granted I have one hell of a time getting that final bit of insert back in tight, but I have never used a special tool. |

Not sure if this what you are looking for. I recall this post from a while back.

Jocke's tutorial is basically how I have always changed inserts, (without a tool)
I guess I was not clear in my question. The watchmaker claimed there was a specific ROLEX tool for switching inserts. Just about anything with an edge an pry up a bezel. Fighting with that insert to get it snapped back in solid is a whole different story in my opinion. |

I'm glad I'm not the only one unaware of a tool for installing inserts. |

Yes, Bergeon make one which is crazy expensive but you don't need it for Rolex.
