Stained Vintage Date Wheel

Hey gang!

I recently bought my father a vintage oyster date. (I don't have it in front of my and I forget the model) He loves the watch but his only complaint is that the date wheel is slightly discolored in some places. It's not rust... just some yellowed spots.

Question 1...
Does Rolex sell these replacements? I have access to a Rolex certified watch man who does some contracting for me on watch repair. I haven't seen him to ask him... does anyone know?

Question 2...
Can it simply be cleaned?

Thanks in advance!

Matt
