Favorite Strap
I'm new to Panerai (had my 312 for less than a week) and to nice watches in general (bought my first really nice watch - Rolex Explorer II - about a year ago), but I'm really new to the world of interchangeable straps.
I've been looking at lots of threads about strap and different makers/craftsmen. The amount of information is overwhelming. I ordered a Metta strap from Micah at Vintager straps, and I'm impatiently waiting for it to come. While I wait, and to help cut through all the information overload, please tell me about your favorite strap, and why it is your favorite. Post what you want (of course), but let's try to limit it to just your absolute favorite. My favorite so far is the black OEM strap that came with my 312 - crocodile I believe. Why? It's my only strap except for the rubber strap which I haven't tried so far, but plan on trying later today. L |

Just got my new 312 also, word of warning on the rubber strap when changing the buckle, the pin is very tight to get back out of the rubber. Be careful.

You made a great decision going with Micah. I just received my fourth Micah (a Terra) in the mail this morning and it is amazing. It is now my favorite, just slightly notching ahead of the Micah Plainsman. I will post some pictures tomorrow, but it looks like a thicker, nicer OEM Assolutamente. It is soft and has a great texture, but most of all, it is very comfortable.
Micah has amazing customer service and an even better product. I just can't say enough great things about him. Please post some pics of your Metta when it arrives! Until I can post pics of my Terra, here is my Plainsman on the right (and a Brindle)...
