16610LV -- V Serial Differences vs M

are there any functional differences V serial 16610LV versus M serial? i thought i recalled the V has antireflective date coating or am i mistaken. thanks.

My M serial didn't have the AR coating.

My M serial does not have the AR coating either on my Sub LV...My GMTIIc has it on the M serial number though

I dont believe my M7 series has the coating either. Hard to tell. i could be wrong.

I have a V LV and don't think it has the coating on the bubble. Hard to tell, maybe I'll go look at it again. Wearing a Daytona right now.

They both can use the same crystal, so Rolex likely used all the older stock of non AR versions until they ran out... There is no way of knowing when they went from one to another.... Rolex doesn't/didn't change anything based on the serial prefix..
