Hello from NorCal
Hey guys how's it going? I'm from San Jose, CA and have been primarily an Omega guy over the years but have always wanted a Submariner. It looks like the time has come for me to get one, hopefully next week.
However, after seeing pictures and reviews of the DSSD I am having second thoughts about the Submariner. I must say that I have never seen the DSSD in person so I guess I have to go to an AD, try it on and see if I'm okay with the size and weight. Either way, I will be a Rolex owner very soon. Wish me luck. |

Hey from Sacramento!
I preferred the SD... the DSSD is just too "hummer-ish", imho. If you can pull it off, more power to you. |

Welcome and good luck.
The DSSD is really quite a piece of work. I personally prefer the Submariner for its comfortable feel on my wrist. If the DSSD was the same thickness and weight of the Submariner I would have a DSSD. Just my but something to think about when you go to buy.

Welcome to TRF!
Either watch would be a great choice...Just make sure to view them both first before making any choices!! Best of luck on your hunt and enjoy the boards, Rob.

Welcome to the Forum.
The Sub is 'THE CLASSIC' the DSSD is 'THE STATEMENT'. A compromise, and one of my favourites, is the old Sea Dweller.
