Jubile Recomendations (Where should I Look)

I'm looking at acquiring a GMT Master II 16710 in a couple of weeks.

It comes on a 78790 (Oysterlock), however I am considering getting a Jubilé 62510. Any recomendations where I should look, and what I should be prepared to pay for a bracelet in excellent condition?

I am also considering getting a Super Jubile instead, would this fit the watch as well?

You bet the super jubilee will fit. However, either would work fine and both feel the same when worn, imho.

Hi, I have a pepsi too and I would like to have the option of changing to a jubilee bracelet in the future.

Question: Can I buy the super jubilee bracelet from RSC? Or an AD?

For whatever reason a lot of used bracelets are priced like gold even though they are just SS.

I bought a new 62510 Jubilee for my 16750 earlier this year from RSC-Dallas. It was $595 (+ tax since I live in Texas).

I LOVE the super jubilee on my new DJ. I think Jubilee is much more comfortable than oyster (and comfort is my middle name hubby says). Even he agreed with me when I had him try on both versions at a local AD when I was looking for my own watch.

Great photos posted by Dan!

Thanks for your replies guys and gals. I found a Jubilee Bracelet today and should have it before I get my new to me GMT II.

The watch comes with a 78790 (Oysterlock), and a Coke insert. I am getting a Pepsi insert, and hopefully the Jubilee I ordered will fit nicely as well.

I didn't and might not get a Black insert since I already have a GMTIIC.

Mine will have Lug Holes.

I can't wait.

You might want to verify that the bracelet is made for a GMT. The Jubilee for the GMT has a '50' stamped on the last link signifying that it takes the larger 2mm springbars and uses 550 end links. If it does not have a 50 on it that signifies that it is a Jubilee for a DJ and takes 1.8mm springbars.

I'll check that out, thanks.

Good catch. I have also run into this a few times. 1.8mm bars with 550 end links really stink, and doesnt feel secure to me. If you got a DJ jubilee my advice is to order or use the 2.0mm bars for your watch, and then have a jewler stretch the rings of the jubilee to fit 2.0mm bars. The end result will be good.

Icon6 Stretched jubilee

Don't mean to hijack this thread but I have to ask about stretched jubilee bracelets.

I've read on several threads here that people have had the stretch on their jubilee bracelet, for lack of better words, "re-tightened." Does anyone know where one could send their jubilee bracelet to get worked on? Thanks!
