Weight of New SS GMT II

I’ve seen a few posts from owners of the new SS GMT II. Can anyone tell me how heavy it is? Does it weigh about the same as the 16710? The new GMT II is a beautiful watch, the polished center links are phenomenal. In turn, they appear to make the watch look heavier. I’ve always preferred a heavy feeling watch. I’m sure some may disagree, however to me it seems more solid and better on the wrist. Any comments from new owners or anyone with experience from both watches?

weight...

I have in my notes that the Aniv GMT is 165 grams whereas the "traditional" GMT is 127 grams (for comparison, the Sea Dweller is 147 grams).

The increased weight is somewhat in the watch head (supercase), but also in the solid link bracelet. The hollow link bracelet (traditional oyster) is significantly lighter.

In my notes on the Aniv. GMT, the weight is for a two-tone. I dont know how much lighter the all stainless would be.....

Spot on. Just weighed my new TT GMT at 165 grams. My SD is 150 grams on the same scales with all standard links.

Good info, Eddie, thanks. So the SD weighs the same as my TT Blue Sub....both at 150 grams each.

Good I like the heft. My every day beater Breitling Hercules is like 215g or so and I'm not sure that includes the bracelet. I've gotten used to the heft so when switch to anohter "lighter" watch it just feels funny.

This baby was one of the heaviest watches I've ever worn. At 45.5 mm, it weighed in at a whopping 222 grams - all links included!!
