1675 GMT Bronze Movement???
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...=STRK:MEWAX:IT
What do you guys think about the movement in this 1675 GMT? Does it look strange to you, an odd bronze color with a strange font? |

There is something very wrong with the first photo it looks to me like a bad Photoshop job to make the mag look good.
Seller says it's just a shadow but why use a questionable pic when you can just take a better one? I'm not a movement guy so sorry I cannot comment on the inner workings of the watch.

...DEFINITELY LOOKS LIKE an Asia fake mvmt...
...wheels and all.
...here is a photo of the selfwinding bridge, right out of a Rolex parts catalog. ...NOTICE the difference in font. ...NOTICE the difference in spacing and lettering. ...NOTICE the ABSENCE of the hyphen between TWENTY FIVE. ...etc, etc, etc. BELOW are pic's right out of one of my Rolex parts cats of a self-winding bridge: |

The self-winding bridge definitely looks counterfeit. Although I wouldn't call the complete watch counterfeit based on the photos. I'm with Stanley on the bridge being counterfeit and his comparison photos depict the discrepancies.

Nice detective work Stan, thanks.
Appreciate the feedback; regardless of the authenticity of the movement, I think I'll be staying away and holding out for something I'm 100% comfortable with. cheers |
