New [to you] user

Sorry guys. I guess I never posted an intro thread here. I'm going to come off as a *real* tool when post up in the sales forum in about ... 4 more posts.

Hi, my name is Chris, and I've had the bug for about three years now. Went through the affordables phase during the first year. (a.k.a 25-30 watches in the box at a time)

Picked up my first Rolex a couple of years ago. (my personal favorite, btw)



However, I've never considered myself a Rolex fanboi. I spent the next couple of years sampling the wares of the $1K-$5K market (Seiko, Sinn, Doxa, Fortis, Oris, Omega, Panerai, IWC, ...). a.k.a. 15-20 watches in the box at a time.

Recently purchased my second Rolex--a GMT-II w/ lug holes--and a JLC Reverso. I'm at that point now where I'm contemplating if I can manage to get down to 6 pretty nice pieces. It's difficult though; I'm a glutton. Leaning more toward ~8 than 6. Here are the leading candidates for 'keeper' status:

Thanks for having me. Though I haven't posted much here, when I need Rolex info *this* is where I come. Hope to give back some eventually, as I get more experience with the brand.
