Sold my Explorer II -- what's next ?
I am new to the forum.
First of all CONGRATS to everybody, great source of information. This is my situation... just sold my Explorer II 16570, kept Datejust 116263 turn-o-graph SS/YG. I can't decide what to get next, looking to buy new. -- Datejust 116334 (41mm) -- Explorer II 216570 (42mm) white or black ? -- GMT IIc 116710 (40mm) -- Milgauss 116400GV (40mm) Not sure if the new Explorer II is too big for my wrist. Looking forward for your suggestions or any other ideas. Thanks, Wolf |

I have a SS GMTIIC and it is by FAR my favorite watch...but I think any on your list would make a nice addition.
If you do decide on the GMTIIC (dont do like I did) consider the TT model, while I'm not a TT guy it is a true stunner! |

Either the GMT II C or the GV. Try both on and see what you like :)

Of the ones you have listed I would go with the GMT-IIC. If oyu don't like PCLs then go with the SubC instead.

GMT IIc now, or wait to see how the new explorer II feels on the wrist with the 42mm.

You can't go wrong with either the Sub C or GMTIIC

GMTIIC, I like mine. The only problem it is a little bit too small. If it is 42mm, it will be perfect.

GMT IIc, but then I would say that if you can afford the extra then I would concider the TT as they add a little more class without being over the top

Welcome to TRF!
My vote goes for GMT IIc, very beautiful and versatile watch, dressier than Explorer II and still tough as nails.

the TT GMT IIc. The TT GMT IIc is a real beauty ! Elegant and sophisticated. The black bezel in combination with gold is stunning. MSRP $ 7,900 SS GMT IIc -- 116710 MSRP $ 11,750 TT GMT IIc -- 116713LN big difference in price... no discount... and still not sure which one to buy. |
