You have been bitten by the Rolex bug. Fear not it is not fatal but can be quite expensive!!

You should sell them. That might give you a couple bucks to put towards a second Rolex

Depends on what your other watches are. Frankly I would hold on to them a little while until the honeymoon stage with your Rolex ends. You may wish to bring a few old favorites into the rotation again.

I think it's normal to only want the latest and greatest in your collection but give it a little time, you will learn to appreciate the old ones again.

Same here...I kept one beater for weekends & one dress watch, sayonara to the rest. Funds from the proceeds will be applied to the new Explorer 2 some day soon.
Rolex GMT is still my daily wearer after 7 months. |

Keep the ones you really like and get rid of the rest. The others will see less and less wrist time, guaranteed!

I have been collecting watches for over 45 years. I know how you feel. I am going to sell about 40 and keep 3 Rolexes add one more plus keep one Omega. Total five so I can wear & enjoy them more.

If your others are watches you feel aren't at Rolex's level, might as well sell them. But if you have for example, a nice IWC, Panerai, JLC, or similar I'd keep them until you're absolutely sure you'll never wear them. I'll go out on a limb though and say if you have a Tag, sell it.
I havent taken my Sub C off yet in 3 months of ownership, but I suspect someday I'll want to wear my IWC Vintage Collection Aquatimer, or my Panerai 24 Sub. |

Variety is a spice of life, I wouldn`t sell other watches if I don`t have to.
But I understand you, once you experience the Rolex, there`s no turning back!

Like most here I have "to many" watches and could sell one or more, but which ones?
Seiko 7202-7009 Scuba Diver's...first watch I bought Omega Seamaster 300 Pro Chrono..my first good watch Doxa 300 Pro reissue..Dirk Pitt's watch Omega Speedmaster Moon...wanted since college Omega 1967 two tone, white face pie pan Constellation... a beautiful dress watch Accutron Astronaut M5...took forever to find a good one Rolex Explorer I 39mm... my first Rolex Nope, looks like I'm keeping them all. Hopefully they'll have a new brother soon, a Coke bezel GMT II, then a TT Daytona. I really think I need some help. |

It really depends on you. I keep my watches in a safe deposit box, so my most worn are together. But I like to dig deeper sometimes and pull out something I haven't worn in a while. It's like running into an old friend I've lost touch with. I'll realize why I bought it in the first place, and I find myself pulling it out again, sooner, the next time.
But, if you pull out a watch you haven't worn in 6 months and 2 hours later you put the Rolex back on, it's time to move it on. |

Happened to me also. I don't wear most of my other watches now.
