Explorer 2 question
As I travel pretty extensively and change time zones frequently I used it as an excuse a few weeks ago to purchase my first ever Rolex...and went for the Explorer 2 specifically because of the dual time function. So here's the problem, tonight I am in Bangkok which is 7 hours ahead and tomorrow I fly to Mumbai - which is 4 and a half hours ahead of my base time in the UK. It's the first time I've been in a time zone with the odd half hour and I can't for the life of me work out how to change the 'live' time and keep the 24 hour hand in the same place......frutrating, but love the watch.
Bit cheeky for a first post - but any Explorer owners out there found a solution ? |

Yeah those 1/2 hour timezone places should be wiped off the map! I don't believe there is a solution to this issue...

Just about reached the same conclusion - it's a quirk. Mumbai is just gonna have to be readjusted

What I would do in those situations is adjust it so you have the correct local time, and then your home time (UK time?) is 30 minutes slow. You will know you are always 30 minutes slow for your home time. But a quick glance of the watch still gives you a general idea of your home time. Also, since it is 30 minutes slow you will never wake anyone up too early when calling home.
