Never say never

After looking at the custom Rolex thread I've decided to buy another Daytona. I've had the black dial ss and White gold version but never got on with them but after seeing Dhh's Daytona I now want one again, only one this time I,m after a White dial with the micro adjustment clasp that I will definitely keep and in the future customise.

I'll most likely have it brushed steel all over and perhaps change the dial and or bezel. For the future can anyone recommend a great watchmaker in the UK that can provide a great Finnish?

Are the dials and bezel's on EBay poor bad fitting replica's

Thanks for the info in advance

I wouldn't want to put anything on a Rolex watch that wasn't a genuine Rolex part personally.Genuine Rolex dials and hands can be expensive and buying anything on EBay can be risky. You should always buy from someone you can trust. There are some trusted sellers on this site that you might want to check with first.

Also you might want to start conducting some research on what your parts are going to cost prior to buying your watch.

Thanks, I know what you mean I may just end up with it just brushed all over after a couple years. Where do the likes of Bamford and Pro Hunter get their parts from?

In eBay you have to know your way around before you buy. I have bought 5-6 dials and 2 bezel inserts on eBay at great prices and they have all been all original.

I may come back to you when the time is right for some pointers, if that's ok.
