I post WTB thread here a week ago. I am looking for a mint Omega OP 45.5 or Seiko Marine Master SBDX001‏. Yesterday a lady emailed me and offered me a mint Seiko Marine Master SBDX001 for 700 euro,which is super good deal for this fine Japanese automatic watch (The going price is about 1200-1800 for preowned one depends on the condition.). In her email, she attached some pics and claimed that she bought the watch 2006. The watch looks in a amazing shape and comes with everything from new. The only thing looked suspicious was that in her pics the watch was purchased 7/13/2009. It did not match the date she mentioned in her email. I did not pay too much attention since I knew she found my information from TRF. I assume she was legit since everybody I know here is so nice.However, I still mentioned this in my reply and asked her TRF screen name for reference check.

She replied pretty quickly. She gave me her TRF screen name. I found something more suspicious. She is brand new TRF member and registered yesterday. She claimed she is in UK and on her TRF status her location is Texas. When I asked why her location is not match her TRF status.She explained she was living in Texas and just moved back to UK because her mom got cancer. In addition, she initially agreed with me to pay for the watch via paypal. (of course, I will cover the fees.) but in her third email, she said she cannot take Paypal because she just moved to UK and her paypal account was hacked by some Russian guy. She wants me to send the money by western union. Things got interesting, didn't it? I refused and told her that I cannot do it just simply because I don't know her and she doesnt have any reference here. She then asked me to pay half of price first and I can pay another half later once I receive the shipment then. She even sent me a letter from 'Paypal'. I think everybody knows what was going on now.

I am still not 100% sure that she is a scammer.( 90% sure she is.

) Just want to give people here a heads up.
