Hi Everyone,

Be nice if the watches could be shown to be once again being worn by adventurers.

Rolex do seem to make a number of models well suited to the adventurer.

Would Rolex consider my mountain biking trips to be that of an adventurer!!!

Willing to supply them photos!!!

that, and, i would imagine there's a lot more money to be made directly pandering to, errrrrrr, advertising to the country club set over the polar expedition and mountaineering crew.

Rolex IMO seems like a dressier type which when you pay high $$ for vs those dispensable G-Shocks and Suuntos whose look just waits to be abused.

I guess back in the day most watches weren't that reliable and the high end watches were too fragile so there was a need for Rolex watches. The times has caught up with Rolex. Nowadays watches are jewlery/accesories, can't say I have explored any caves latley with my Exp2

Seriously the Rolex marketing department needs to extract the digit and get Rolex at the forefront of modern coolness culture

The new EXII soon to be released presents a golden marketing opportunity for Rolex. Maybe they need to give one to Snoop Dog or Paris Hilton.........whatever they do they need to do something to get this brand back to where it should rightfully be

Rolex needs to strike the imagination of the general populous.
Admittedly Rolex may be beyond the financial reach of the general populous these days.
We are quite well aware of the exquisite precision that Rolex brings to the table.......but its the marketing that excites the imagination and stimulates the general buying public into action.

Hence my point: Rolex needs to spark some imagination in the potential buying populous.

Probably because tennis and golf players (not sure about yachtsmen) earn big bucks and most people look to $$$ as being successful so align Rolex being worn by these sports people as the symbol of success I reckon.
