PR, Winding and Time Setting

Just acquired my first PAM 367. Few quick observations:
I noticed the PR is closer to 60 hours than 56 as manual says. Perhaps because it's new. I guess over time it will get closer to 56 or even less which means time for service
The watch does not stop completely. It stops for a few minutes and then on and off again until comes to a complete stop.
It takes about 70 winds to complete/stop.
When setting time, the second hand keeps moving which makes it difficult to set correct time. Wondering how to check COSC accuracy

As always appreciate sharing from the members here

56 hours is what Panerai guarantees. My 111 goes for like 60+ hours as well. I'd recommend service in 5-7 years or sooner if you notice a problem with it's time keeping.

The 6497 movement inside does hack (the sec hand keeps moving) but you can hack it a little. Give the watch 5-10 winds to get the sec hand moving from a dead stop. Then ever so slightly turn the crown just a tiny bit backwards and viola, you stop the second hand while the back pressure is there.

About the watch stoping and moving again near the very end of the power supply, that is normal. Basically there is so little power left in the spring that the friction causes the watch to stop. A minor move of the watch is enough to temporarily overcome that friction and move it a little more. Just wind the watch!

Awesome!!
It's weird, my 312 was in the safe box for 4 days and it's still running with the correct time and date!!! It's suppose To be a 3 day automatic. Love it.
