sub serial #s

I found a sub date, 16610, with jumbled serial # but it is not the ceramic version. I thought they ended at G no? And then went to jumbled when ceramics were produced..?

No, some 16610s and 14060Ms have random serial numbers. My last 16610 was random and my 14060M I just purchased is random.

Random and G are produced concurrently.

And a random 16610 is as good as it gets as Dan can attest to above, in terms of 16610s in general. It has that elusive antiglare cyclops that only started in the V9 serial and on. It is a small difference, but I love the feature. A seller has a V98 Sub for sale in the forum right now, and if you look at his pictures clearly the cyclops has the antiglare feature. So keep an eye for that when you buy.
