Does size matter?

My wife is looking to change her 26 mm date just for something bigger. Has had it 8 years and times and fashions have changed, and she is hankering after something larger and more up to date!

Been into AD today and she tried on a mid size and also 34 mm date just. She has a 26 mm white dial at the moment, and loves the white dial - would love the same dial on a larger size, but Rolex don't do the same arabic dial anymore.

Also with regards to bracelet - should she go Jubilee or Oyster with the polished central links? Is the jubilee old fashioned these days? She is not keen on anything too "bling" and would not go with any coloured dials or diamonds I hope!!!! What is most fashionable at the moment?

She is 5ft 6" tall and a UK size 8-10 (US 4-6), with average size wrists for a girl. Classic in the way she dresses and looking for a watch for both casual and for going out/dress occasions. Not wanting to go too big, so guess the sport models are out, so looking at date just models.

What do you think guys?
