Scratch magnet?
My wife is looking at a 34 mm datejust with oyster bracelet with PCL's and a polished domed bezel. If this is her daily wearer do u think it will be a scratch magnet?

Yes, but it is meant to be worn and will return to a "factory fresh" finish with it's RSC service in 5-10 years.
(Everything before the "but" is moot! )

It scratches ...but I use my DJ also as a daily beater, and no problems.

Scratches occur, it happens. Some of this just depends on your lifestyle but they are enivitable. Most of them however only the wearer themself knows about.
The good thing is that everytime you get the watch serviced, a light poliish will return it to just like new.

My wife just got a TT Lady DJ (26mm) and despite my advice went for the Oyster with PCLs. She did take my advice about the bezel however and went for fluted. She got a minor scratch on the clasp within the first week but I easily buffed it out with Cape Cods. This is not something I would do on a regular basis however and only when she is really distressed about a scratch. In short, yes, IMO PCLs are a scratch magnet but scratches will happen as a fact of life and will be removed at the service interval. Just wear it, be reasonably careful and try to enjoy it. BTW, the wife still loves the look of her Oyster bracelet but now agrees the Jubilee might have been a more practical choice from a scratch standpoint.
