U Boat
Anybody own one of these? I was over at Feldmar - great watch retailer in L.A.- and they have a large display. These watches are OVERSIZE to say the least, looking about 50mm and up.
I asked the sales rep about who wears them, he said they sell very well, and a lot of people with normal and even smaller wrists buy them and wear them. They are totally striking, make a big statement, and look like no other watch out there. I'd love to get your thoughts. Larry. |

Noticed that nobody had replied yet. I went online and found some photos from the U Boat website. I really like the look of some of the models. I don't know much about the brand, myself. How much were they selling for?

Looking at them on Google they look pretty sweet. The site is lacking though as the only AD listed in the US in in FL. I think I have a problem with the name "U Boat" reminds me of german subs and WWII not good things.

Feldmar is pretty open to trade- ins, and I'm thinking of trading a watch I don't wear much any more to get the U boat. Larry. |

I have a friend who owns one, I think his is like a 46mm case, I think he paid 6-800 for his. Its a cool looking watch if I was buying a watch in that price range I might consider getting one.

I can't wait for the Merrimack or Monitor series watches. Hmmm, actually not a bad idea
