Question for 16610LV owners
To all 16610LV owners, would you go with a black bezel insert or would you leave the green insert on? I would like to hear your opinions.

i was uncertain about green at first...
now, my feeling is it would be an INSULT to that watch to replace it's perfectly thought out green bezel with black |

I refrained from voting because I am a proponent for both. Just switch it out when you feel like it and put the green back when you feel like it.

Leave the green, if you try the black you will replace it by the green soon!

That said, the only thing that's holding me back from switching to a black insert is the availability of a 'bezel remover' tool. I haven't done it before I'm being extra careful I just don't feel good using the knife method on the bezel. So here's one vote from me for the black insert!

I agree with the fact that the green is extremly well thought: matte green, olive and chlorophylle, a touch of acidity with a black suit, perfect.

That or I would have to start shopping for a 'bezel remover' tool Daniel. . I know I have a whole tool chest of special tools that I only use once!

Richard, thanks for your advice but that black bezelled understated look on a 16610LV maxi dial is too tempting!

That's the beauty with non-ceramic models.....the option to switch bezel inserts! Why not?......Got for it. And, when you get tired of the black...switch back.

Well I'm not a watch tech but IMHO, I wouldn't switch it back n forth since I believe the bezel inserts are somewhat 'press-fitted' into the bezels and I'm thinking if I should get a spare bezel-insert combo.

the consensus among those who have done it seems to be that they go back to the green relatively quickly? i have been contemplating the same... nothing is as classic as a SS all black sub.

Thank you for the pictures John I don't know what's' holding me back I would probably need a bezel remover tool. because I have not done this before I don't know how much stress it's gonna place on the bezel if using knife method. Or I can just keep the black bezel since it's still BNIB.
