Explorer II, jeez do I feel stupid

Just realised there's more than just a dial difference between the white & black Explorer II, the hands & markers are different too. The black has WG hands & markers surrounds whereas the whitey has the WG painted black for contrast.

Why didn't I spot this before?

Thanks Bo, I hadn't thought of that either but you're probably right, well we've all gotta be to some extent haven't we?

But to be sincere: You are right. But it is only natural, design-wise

Did you know what time it was a minute later after you realize the difference?

You're totally a WIS!

Chris,

The earlier EXP II's with the white face did come with unpainted hands and surrounds.

I would give my left what-cha-ma-call-it for one of the cream dial EXP II's. White gold hands and surrounds.

That's OK, I once got upset with my Explorer II cause I could not see the red 24 hour hand in a dim light situation. Then I realized it was because it was under the minute hand!
