What is the Diff. btw 116710LN to 116610LV Green
Okay so I have a question. I have the GMT IIC 116710LN 2009 model Z. I have been looking on google and the forums here about the 116610LV Green, because I am going to get it as a Christmas present. The case on the 116610 Sub looks larger than the 116710 GMT IIC, does it actually look larger or is it larger. I really like the larger look of it, but maybe its just me.
Any thoughts?..... |

I can relate to this..
..
Hi! I used to own the GMTIIc 116710LN also. I traded it in for the same reason you are considering to buy the sub for. The case on the Sub is pretty much the same, however it has slightly wider lugs and a deeper caseback to allow extra water proofing. ...With the case having a higher caseback and wider lugs it looks slightly more square, bulky and robust on the wrist compared to the GMTIIc. The LV is a stunning watch, you will love it! -Dino

Same here
I sold my GMTIIc and bought a ceramic LV instead. The size is about similar although it gives an impression that the LV is larger.
The pluses though are the fantastic green-gold dial, the lack of PCL, and the glide-thingy which you can adjust. I never really used the GMT much and the Sub is almost bulletproof. That made the decision for me. |
