Please post a photo of your everyday TT band...

I've seen the beautiful, scratch-free photos of many TT Rollies on TRF. There have also been multiple posts about how the gold is soft and a scratch magnet. I'm hoping that folks would share photos of how an everyday TT band looks. I'd like to get an idea if I can live with the look of the TT after the watch leaves the box and is lived with on a daily basis.

Thanks for sharing photos and opinions on this issue,

Dave

Someone here must wear a watch that doesn't look like it just rolled off the dealer's shelf...

I have only had my TT GMT for a few weeks so I am disqualified.

All I have are BSP's (before scratch pix).

But you are welcome to them.

Just an everyday band really.

If I could figure out how to post a picture, I would show my ten yr old TT DJ with a jubalie bracelet.
In words, the best I could say is that the brushed stainless still looks like new, but the gold links, although still very attractive, lost their mirror like glow, but they still shine.
I wear this watch alot, and I guess you could concider it my "beater", but I still catch people stealing a peek at it now and then. Myself included.

After the tears have been shed take another photo and show your wear. A great thread for sympathy.

Everbody is in denial about the scratches on their TT watches .... Thats why I dont wear my Blue TT Sub everyday,I wear it about once a week. The less prone to scratching SD and Expl II,takes the daily beating

My dad has two TT watches and one solid gold watch (18K sub, TT sub, and TT YM)

I can tell that he wears them without concern for scratching. If you ask him, he will tell you he buys them to wear them, not to let them sit on a shelf.

When the tt watches get scratched, the gold portion takes on the same brushed look as the stainless steel. The whole bracelet then looks brushed instead of brushed and polished together. It's not a bad look.
