Rolex 1680 dials put in Tudor 79090's

I read somewhere on another site someone discussing swapping out their Tudor 79090 dial and replacing it with a Rolex 1680 one. Is that even possible, the cases are the same and both are dates but would the ETA accept the 1680 dial? If so it makes me wonder how many of those are floating out there.
