Yes! I made the purchase!
I Learned a lot from hanging around on the board and combing the internet. Thanks for all the good Information from everyone!
I was leading up to purchase this week. I was speaking to a pre-owned dealer this morning, when he told me that the watch I actually wanted was $200 more that the one listed. I was also quoted the cheaper price by another salesman a week erlier. Maybe just miscommunication. I didnt balk at it, but it did dissuade me a bit. I decided to give a call to Alan Furman and being that the price was only $400 more and it will be brand spanking NEW, I made my purchase of the TTBlack face Sub I've been wanting. Im pretty excited. The only bummer? It wont get delivered till Monday because I'll be out of town Thursady thru Saturday and wont be here to sign for it. But....Monday I'll be here wating! |

Congratulations Bodie..
You will not be disappointed.. You will have to learn to hide your treasure from some on the forum who have gone over to the blue side... Just keep in mind, your quest was true and noble and you have a real man's watch on it's way.... not some sissy office queen. |

Congratulations on a fine purchase! The watch will definitely serve you well and you will not be disappointed. I am planning to buy a TT black Sub too someday, I've always dreamed of owning that watch. I always ask to see one whenever I stop at an AD because wearing one always brings a smile to my face.
Hope that Monday comes quick for you too! The moment you open the box and see your new watch for the first time is always a priceless moment. Cannot wait for the pictures! Cheers! |

If you make it to Furman's shop - stop downstairs at Houston's for some good grub. I'm not affiliated with Houston's in any way - other than I like to eat!
