Classic Watch Parts
For those of you who have sent your watches or watch parts to Michael at Classic Watch Parts, could you please tell me how you shipped your items?
I was told that UPS or FEDEX could not guarantee that a PO Box would accept the package. Also, they will only allow me to insure my watch band for $500. The lady at the package store also wasnt sure if the US Postal Service would insure items being shipped internationally... I'd appreciate any advice. Many thanks in advance. Scott |

Classic Watch Parts
I had a bad experience with those guys. I would try to find another alternative. E-mail me if you want the details.

And I had a great experience with Classic. I was and continue to be happy (extactic actually) about my bracelet restoration.
I just sent it USPS from the West Coast and it took about 5 days to get to Michael's PO Box. I'm not discounting any part of DCM's story, but apparently a majority of people who gather on this forum and have used Classic have had good experiences. Listen to both sides and make your own decision. Good luck. |
