G series GMTii
Hey guys,
So I bought my GMTii about 2 weeks ago. The watch is a G series...what does that mean? I am new to rolex and watches.. Thanks! |

The G series is very new. I bought mine in Frankfurt in May and its also a G series. An excellent choice of watch.

All it means is its a G case stamp nothing more, and the case was stamped sometime between late 2010 and present time.Rolex have never made a series of any Rolex watch. All the letters numbers are is a case serial stamp and a approximation with the use of the various non Rolex official Internet codes that the case/clasp was stamped between X&Y years.
