Actually, the GP Jackpot goes for over $500,000! Ah, the idle rich.

I vote for the JLC too. Nice and elegant. Must look a little odd to start the chrono and see the 2 sweep second hands traveling around the dial.

I tried on the older version of the Defy this weekend and was dissapointed. They look nice in the pictures, but it just felt awkward and bulky on the wrist.

I dig the first one. Audemars Piguet Milenary Deadbeat Seconds (I had to cut and paste that) Watch looks wicked.

It goes to show you, not all the rich people have the best taste. To me the JLC and Ferrari are the two nicest looking. I am sure if you got to see the others up close and feel them, they would grow on you. Most of the example shown looked too hard to read at a glance.

The JLC is superb.

The Zenith Defy must be a John Merrick homage design.

I actually think the Bell & Ross is pretty tough-looking, though I'd probably never own any of these watches at any price.

I'll agree the JLC is the more traditional of the lot..

They all look like they came off the drawing board from a Jules Verne novel, or from the mind of DaVinci..

Just amazing..

Maybe you get your money back as you play the built-in slot machine.

Displayed in Tokyo

A department store here had their 11th Int'l World Watch Fair recently. I went twice, becuase the displays changed over the 2 weeks of the fair.

I saw the GP slot-machine watch (pictured here) that was ONLY USD $500,000, because the grand-daddy of the show was the Fred Muller that went for over USD $2.5 million. It was made of platinum to begin with.

But the one that stole my heart was the new JLC Reverso Squadra Hometime which is a bargain at around $6.5K list. Maybe becuase it's almost kind of affordable, so that's why it looked so good. (Plus the incredibly nice gal at the JLC counter was tops... NOw all I can say is that my next purchase is going to be JLC, but not too soon.

Oh, I when I passed by the Rolex AD they had an LV in the store at list, less the discount with my store card. Of course, I grabbed it. Other stores down the street had LV's new at $700 over list, and used for about $200 over the MSRP.
