Michael Buble - Rolex reference

I bought the Michael Buble Christmas CD today - yes, I realize its October but since it's snowing here in MD I felt I was justified...anyway, he has a re-make of "Santa Baby" which has a Rolex reference in the first line of the song.

Basically goes something like "Santa, buddy, slip a Rolex under the tree...for me,"

Just made me smile when I heard that for the first time and thought I had to share

That's funny! I think I will pick up the CD as well and put that line on repeat so my wife can hear it! Thanks for sharing!

I just listened to the song, that's great! Michael Buble has a great voice, and a passion for Rolex.

Im a huge MB convert. Too wife to his London concert last year (she is a massive MB fan) and have totally changed my mine. Great voice, awesome personality and ability to crack a joke at his own expense to make audience laugh is just great.

Yep. I noticed this as well. Nice big product placement for Rolex right at the start of the song. Good album.

I think of him as the poor man's Frank Sinatra...or in watch terms, a Seiko monster vs. the real deal - a Deep Sea or Sub ;-)

I'm a big fan of the crooners such as Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Dean Martin and Bobby Darin. Michael Buble doesn't do it for me though; he just seems kind of lame.

Sorry.

Saw him last night in Oakland. He was sporting a large watch. Looked like a Rolex DSSD but thinner. Anyone know what he was wearing?

It looked a bit too big for his wrist.

I'm sure Rolex has slipped a couple under his tree. I think I saw him in Rolex ads in the past for the DJ if I'm not mistaken.

I saw a photo of him in Hello magazine a year ago he was wearing a 116509 with black racing dial.
It was a photo of him with his new hot wife outside skiing i think.

Big fan here too. The wife turned me on to him. As said previously, he's a great singer and has a very warm personality. Great guy. Also helps that he's a Rolex guy of course! Lol! I did notice the reference in the song. My wife points it out to me too! Just have to see him in concert next time he's around. He's got a Daytona and a Sub C.

This is funny, as I saw him on Leno last week and paused several times to see if I could figure out which Sub he was wearing. I believe it was an 116610 as best I could make out!

Thanks for posting this! Geezers I wonder if that was "free" advertising? Hard to put a price on that if it wasn't!

Watched the Xmas special too on NBC and he was wearing a Daytona, but couldn't get a good look at which one.
