This screams bad deal
Nothing about this listing looks good:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/ROLEX-GMT-MA...#ht_989wt_1189 First of all, in 1958, there were no crown guards. Even so the next iteration came out in 1959 with pointed crown guards. 1.1 million serial dates 1964/65 in which case the case would have square crown guards if 1965. Seller is sooooooo not disclosing the truth about this watch. Just my humble opinion though. Pete Last edited by pdoukas; 1 November 2011 at 07:48 AM.. Reason: mistake on wording |

Pete, I agree with your comment.
The serial number doesn't correspond to the model on the pics. Doesn't make any sense. Also, EBay doesn't care about fakes. I have decided to stop reporting counterfeit items. I will only report them on TRF. |

clearly the guy has made a mistake about the date of the watch. 1.1 as you say is most likely 64. that is it . He shows the service dial on watch etc etc. Original dial is also not original to the watch but is a later original rolex dial. I doubt he knows that. Really dont think he is doing that badly compared to the real thiefs.
