Titanium version of the 390??

Love the 390, but I really love the older solid back titanium models with the painted tobacco dials.

Does anyone know if there are plans to release a titanium-cased model with similar dial to the 390? That would be pure perfection IMO.

The 351 is as close as you can get to what your looking for. I am on the list for the 390, it will be a tough choice between the two.

Yeah, if you care about the gold hands. I think I could do without them. I'd like to see it as a reissue of sorts for the early titanium models.

Closer than a 351 is a 55.

44 Luminor (non-1950) - check
Base - check
Painted - check
Brown dial - check
Solid back - check
non-gold hands - check
two liner - sort of check, but one up top and one down below.

Even found one for sale.

They've done it ad nauseum with the 55 and 61, there is a nice 55c that Kostas is selling for less than 5k US.

Other option is the 116--forgive the open caseback--its a stunner

I do not think Panerai needs to revisit, unless they they do a LOGO on the dial

I like the aged lume look, so for that reason (and getting a new watch) I would welcome a revisit. A pig would be nice too.

They could do the Boutique Editions (pig logo, aged patina markers) with gold hands and titanium case.

The way they are releasing new models out of nowhere,ie 390,420, ..im sure you'll see all the variants soon, case material, dial , I wonder, are these really new? They should just offer a watch where you can customize it to your liking, 44,47, luminor or radiomir, sandwich, painted dial, gold hands, choice of metal/ finish, complications, if any, strap, actually forget the strap, just buy the case, plenty of strap makers out there, it'll be like burger king..." Have it your way!"....i hope panerai is reading this...what a concept....
