MOvember - Fighting Men's Cancers
Is anyone here on the Rolex forums participating in Movember?
I'm sure cancer has touched many of your lives. I personally lost a great grandfather, grandfather, and uncle to various forms of cancer. Each year men around the world grow mustaches and raise funds to fight prostate and testicular cancers. Last year I donated. This year I'm upping my game by fund raising and growing a moustache. Why a moustache? Because I never wear one. And when people say "what's with the moustache?" I will have an great answer. "The funds raised in the US support prostate cancer and other cancers that affect men. The funds raised are directed to programs run directly by Movember and our men’s health partners, the Prostate Cancer Foundation and LIVESTRONG, the Lance Armstrong Foundation. Together, the three channels work together to ensure that Movember funds are supporting a broad range of innovative, world-class programs in line with our strategic goals in the areas of awareness and education, survivorship and research." If you would like to join my team, or donate, follow the link below. http://us.movember.com/mospace/2315866/ |

I last shaved my upper lip on November 1st. I've grown a beard many times, but never a lonely 'stache. I'm honestly not looking forward to this month, but it is for a great cause. www.mobro.co/charitypaintings |

Ryan mate I'm not looking forward to it either I assure you but as you said it's all for a good cause & what's 30 days of itchy'n scratchy eh?!? Your challenge is accepted btw Mo' Bro' & Mark (Grumpy Badger) is up for it too!! (& for the record I've never grown a beard nor a Mo' simply 'cos my facial hair's as sporadic & as patchy as that on my head!! )

Movember 2012!
Hey chaps,
I actually work at Movember in London and am so pleased to see this topic, though it was a couple of years ago it seems... Anybody in the UK who wants to get involved this year, please give me a shout as I would be happy to help in any way I can! I can hook you up with our Movember collateral/merch, which will be available in September (wrist bands, posters, Gilette razors, ect.) If you want to get a team at your office, pub, club, ect. I can help you with that too. I'm a Rolex/Panerai WIS and glad the WIS community is getting involved and helping to change the face of men's health. Good on ya! Cheers lads! Anguz |

Wow an oldie but a goody, I don't remember the fervor building up over the last few years here in the states, has this movement gone by the wayside?
