I got caught by the Police....

Last weekend, my wife left me to go shopping after 15 years of marriage

I stayed home and I got beaten by my kids at swimming....

I drove to the local shop to get some take away dinner

Whilst waiting to turn at traffic light.... One car went thru' red light, camera went off and my car was in the photo ....

So I got caught by the Policce's Red Light Camera
with a $305 ticket

I am writing a letter to explain this week

One major incident after another

I think he was kidding.

Those red light cameras are the worst idea. They actually create more accidents.

My thoughts exactly.
Or... Maybe it's a one way street/double standard

OP sounds like aa troublemaker to me.

I think it's time to lock up the OP and throw away the key.

This morning I forgot that I had my Movado on instead of my Rolex in the shower. Now I have a watch that needs a trip to get repaired. Another reason to love my Rolex.

They have our traffic cameras here in ABQ shut down while the courts and the city council duke it out over their continued operation, but ours take video combined with still shots of the infraction, so that if there are any mitigating circumstances, they can be ruled out before a ticket is issued.

My license plate was stolen and put on an Accord the same color as mine and it was caught running a red light. I went to the hearing, which here are non-judicial, and beat the ticket because while the car was the same color, make, and model, it was the wrong model year. It was rather embarrassing for the "court" because not only had I reported the theft, but I let the attending officer go through the whole process of proving my guilt before I laid out all the irrefutable evidence to the contrary on the table between him and the "judge."

It turned out to be a very enjoyable day, which came during a rather difficult period of my life and gave me a little bit of a boost in my mood.

You might get the picture in the mail. If not I would ask for it, just to see what they have.

Here in NYC it's a $50 fine & 0 points against your license if you get bagged by a red light camera.
