Tips for first time buyer please?
Hi there,
It's my 21st birthday coming up shortly and I have been looking at Rolexes every day for months now. A source was going to be providing one to my parents for a discounted price but that fell through and I don't think the budget would quite stretch to a brand new one at UK RRP unless I wanted to compromise for something I didn't want. Today when out for a last ditch attempt to find something, I came across a like new, 2009 barely worn rolex just handed in to the shop and everything about it seemed too good to be true. It had all the papers and the shop I know for a fact to be reputable so I just wanted to know: What should I be looking out for? Maybe this is the going rate for this watch, or maybe I have just been lucky but I'm worried there's something wrong with it. It's allegedly an unwanted gift. It's a two tone datejust with jubilee bracelent and the dial is diamond set. What sorts of things should I look out for in this one? The bracelet did not seem stretched but perhaps there's a good way of checking that someone can enlighten me to? As you can see this is my first post so apologies if anything I've said is stupid or factually incorrect. Thanks. |
