back on the forum for first time in years
wonder what the new news is?
couple years back i had bought a GMTII-C for myself and a lil oyster for my wife .. some horrible things happened and i had to sell off the GMT ... i havent even had the nerve to log on here, or look at a jeweler in the last couple years .. just sorta depressing .. anyways .. happy to be back, and im back in the market soon .. noticing the ceramic sub and wondering how it looks in person compared to the GMT .. the polished links on the GMT spoke to me, but also didnt like the scratching that happened even if it was very minor .. still havent ruled out a good ol date sub used either, or even no date not convinced im going to get another just yet, but looking at the selling prices man i always knew these held value, but the last couple years has brought prices up a bit it seems! .. anyways, just sayin hey to everyone .. few will remember me .. let me know if anything happened good or bad with the major members here in the last few years .. i miss everyone!

welcome back and sorry to hear about ur GMT, the explorer II just got revamped up to a 42mm case, just a heads up if you want to take a look into that. The sub-c is a wonderful piece and you literally cant go wrong with it since its always flippable.

Welcome back! Make sure to enjoy "the hunt" now for something nice! The new Submariner is well worth checking out, as is the new Explorer II (if you like larger watches).
Best, A |
