Tudor Sub 79090 Ser# Dating?
I am trying to date my Tudor Sub 79090 as close as I can. The serial number is 2783XX. Does any of the TRF members have one with a ser# number close to mine and know the year it was made or have papers with year purchased? Or is their a listing with the years made. The case back on inside has the number 76100 and case has 79090 I read a post on this forum somewhere that this watch was a transitional early 80's ? Thanks for any help!

Yes, it's as early as the 79090s come. So likely it should have more patina than others and would be worth a bit more. I think these came along in 1989 or so. Harry
