I would be thrilled if my AD gives me a call tomorrow and tells me that my new Sub is in, but if not, it'll be the Explorer for the day.

Well, not to be pedantic, but I picked the only Sub, the Submariner 14060M.

All the rest are known as Submariner Dates.

I really like the watch for it's vintage styling and also because it may not be with us much longer.

I don't really see Rolex discontinuing the Sub, but it is likely to undergo some styling changes that may make it more beefy and I'm not sure I'd like that.

Congratulations on your new acquisition.
