So it has come to this

Maybe I should go with Lazenby just to mix it up, you know the other fellow.

I actually don't think he was as bad as everyone thinks...

Oops, I took Ken's line.

He was pretty good actually, a cool Bond movie he starred in on top of that.

I'm going out on a limb: Timothy Dalton!

However - there is a huge caveat - he got one so-so movie and one really bad one.

I think if he would have gotten the first movies, he would be legendary.

I'm 23, so I grew up with Brosnan. He's my pick.

He wore the wrong brand of watch though!

George Lazenby was pretty good in the role and was in fact offered more. His management apparently dissuaded him from accepting!!
OHMSS is also one of the most underated of the series. I quite like them all - bringing different characteristics to a "formula" role. The Bond series are a lot more than just the actor who plays the role.

Sean Connery will always be Bond, but Daniel Craig isn't half bad to look at and he plays the role almost as well as Connery.

Connery because he started the ball rolling. Daniel Craig is brilliant and a fine actor too. He is carrying the torch nicely.

I think is hard to compare the Bond actors due to the different styles of films. The new Daniel Craig era is far more edgy and closer to the true Ian Fleming books.

Sean Connery or Roger Moore could not have done Casino Royal but then image Daniel Craig in Moonraker 0 it just wouldn't work.

I love the Connery Bond - right time and right place, but also a big fan of Daniel Craig.

Sean Connery.

But Daniel Craig is excellent too, and I do like Timothy Dalton's bonds.

I do prefer Connery, but not for his acting ability which is credible but it's his personality and presence on the screen.

Truly though I have always been entertained by all who play Bond. And while I may prefer a particular actor or production style, so far they have ALL worked well for me!

I like Sean Connery but I think it's mostly because he was in the 1960s movies - and I absolutely love the style of those movies and it's cool to see him so young. Although looking just at the men themselves, I think Roger Moore is the best Bond.

Major props to Daniel Craig for overcoming everyone's (including my) early choice criticisms and for rejuvenating the series.
