Timepiece Perfection

Vince Bellissima of Timepiece Perfection hunted for a Chrono Avenger blue dial Pro II for me and Breitling in switzerland no longer has any. They are phasing this out as it is being replaced by the Avenger Skyland. Nice watch, but a tad bit and its all SS, I prefer Titanium.

He found a new one for me, new with the trimmings. He'll be shipping it out on Monday... I should get it on Wed, and I'm off all of next week!

My local AD doesn't have one anymore...

Woohoo!

Awesome good luck!
I have a question about the Avenger if you dont mind... I was looking into it for an everyday watch to have in the office and such since my Daytona has tons of scratches on the gold area. How does the Titanium hold up? I tried it on and it looks awesome im just afraid the Titanium might be killing the look of the watch (as apposed to shiny SS) which leads to my next question.... This all SS model any pics or info when its coming out??

In addition im seeing prices as low as US $2100 for these Chrono Avengers, If I see a blue dial would you want me to email you a link? (I myself might go for the white dial with brown leather strap or the blue dial and titanium bracelet)

Titanium does scratch easier but not that easy, but it can easily be buffed out. There were discussion about it regarding Titanium that it "self heals", due to its top layer. Titanium is softer than SS, but lighter.

Here's the discussion about it: http://forums.watchuseek.com/showthread.php?t=23106

Also, Ti does not have that "cold" shock feel compared to SS. As for the SS Skyland Avenger, folks are already ordering it, and there's a lead time of 6-8 weeks. Some are even waiting for Dec delivery. The Skyland photo can be found here... http://www.rolexforums.com/showthrea...hlight=skyland

In daylight, Titanium does ont look too blingy, and it does look somewhat brushed which I like.

This was my CA which was stolen on Pro I:

The Pro II bracelet looks like this: (Borrowed from Fagan over at TZ)

Here's a better photo from our good friend Comatox...

Always thought titanium was one of the hardest metals in existence but that is different from 'scratchable'?

YIKES! 50mm!!! Lets see what I can do about this current model because even 44mm is pushing it. I really want a shiny SS model but Breitlings are really out of my price range for the daily beater but for 2k I cant say no to this stunning Avenger

If you need a beater get the SuperOcean Professional. Lumed Arabic numerals, and 40mm size.

CA is with Vince, he will ship today. Took longer than he thought to get the CA as they are disappearing from ADs and Breitling directly.

There are no Pro IIs available from his sources so it will be identical to what I had which is a Pro I.

Sigh... my quest to replace my CA has come to a dead end.

Vince mistakenly received the Chrono Avenger M1 which has the superquartz movement hence I told him that I don't want it. The supplier that has the CA (automatic) is selling it higher than Vince quoted me so the deal is off.

I'm getting the refund first thing tomorrow.

Looks like faith is stopping me from getting my Chrono Avenger!

I'll check another AD here and if not, I'll go with Alan Furman!

Sol,

Correction, the skyland is 45mm not 50mm as I previously thought.

Best,

Vernon

Here in Canada is over 4K... not worth it. I'm looking at the Seawolf right now (preowned). Deciding whether whether to get the blue or yellow dial.
