Case protectors vs. bezel protectors
Does anyone know around what year rolex switched from shipping watches with a case protector (shown below - covers bezel, lugs and pushers) vs. the more recent bezel protectors (donut that just covers the bezel)?

The one photographed below has a tab marked "40" but I'm guessing that means 40mm.
