ADs in LA not discounting

Was at several ADs in the Los Angeles area over the weekend. None of them were willing to discount on their sports models, claiming that they are in short supply and can sell them at list. But I got to try the new Explorer II, GMT, Sub and Deepsea. Like them all. Don't care for the new polished bracelet on the GMTs...

Rolex has not historically been a discounted model.. There has only been some movement towards discounts during the economic downturn the past few years..

It's nice to try them on though..........

Too many $30,000 millionaires out there plus all the domestic and international travelers keep prices fixed and high.

It's kind like that out here in Arizona for the winter, my AD just told me, no discounts on anything until June

With the Phoenix Open, Barrett-Jackson Auto Auction and literllay 1000's of base ball players showing up here in the next 60 days the high end has plenty to look forward too........

Hum... Discounts everywhere I shop... South, East and of course the Midwest. Sounds like the AD just trying to get more $$$ out of you if you ask me

OP when you ready to buy pull out your cash or credit card and tell them how much you are willing to offer i am sure they will start to negotiate with you.

Discounts in my neck of the woods. Some "chain jewelers" like to say they don't discount as a matter of policy. The "chain" I speak of I believe is going out-of-business, or bankrupt.
