Decent Deal for Mid-Size Datejust TT

I've been wanting a mid-size datejust for awhile now. Being a women the mid-size is perfect for me. My local AD is willing to discount 12% and waive the sales tax. The watch is the mid-size TT yellow gold, new style clasp, silver dial, gold roman. What are your thoughts, reasonable deal?

12% off and no sales tax.... That's close to 20%

From an AD....sure, I'd go for that...if it was a watch I wanted...

It sounds like the AD is willing to deal and the no sales tax is a huge savings. If you find one you like, go for it.

However, the AD has more room to negotiate on the price and it's just a question of if he wants to. TT's have a higher price, hence more profit margin. My AD will do 15-20% depending on the model of TT.

You could still try to push him a little but 12% is still a decent discount, especially if there's no competition in the general area!

12% with no tax is a really good deal. If you want the watch I'd jump all over it.
