What's your weather story of the year?
As of 6:00, it has been the wettest year on record in Lexington. This has been a familiar sight during 2011.
I served as President of my son's Little League this season, and survived (barely) the wettest April on record. Among my many other talents, I'm now an expert on rolling out the field tarp and the use of quick dry!

For us here in Massachusetts it's been the story of two winters, last years was brutal! There was bellow average cold and almost weekly snow storms for 2 months, record snow falls and lots of spring flooding. Followed by summer tornado's in Springfield and hurricane Irene (hit Vermont the worst). This winter, while still getting going, has been very mild in comparison, no real snow to speak of and above normal temps.

Probably that evening a while back when we had floods, tornadoes and earthquakes all going on at once.

There is a bush I pass every day on my way to work that started to bloom a couple of weeks ago. Today was +7C, it should really be around -5C, in other words a very mild winter in Stockholm.
