I'm an avid motorcyclist also, so I kind of get where you're coming from...but I also enjoy watches.
If I'm interpreting correctly, you inherited a Rolex from your uncle and are having difficulty letting go of it for sentimental reasons.
Tough call... but I bet he'd rather have you enjoy a bike with the money from the watch, than not enjoy the watch and just dream of the bike you could be riding. Just make sure you do your research and get fair market value for the watch if you do choose to sell

Some people when they look at my wrist, they saw a deposit on a house. It freaks them out!

If you do that just get some glasses.

It sounds like you not should ride a motorcycle with that sight.

Why not just post the Rolex on ebay or go to a jeweler who sells pre-owned Rolex and sell it??? If you are that much in a hurry, that would be the fast and easy way. Especially a jeweler who deals in pre-owned Rolex. Any mid sized town has a dealer.

I don't understand why you would complain about posting 16 times here, just to sell a watch. People here are probably not going to pay any more for that watch than you will get from any reputable dealer. Just my 2 cents.

If you come across as over anxious people are going to be suspicious of you. If you really want to sell the watch on this forum, then just cool your beans, let people get to know you and quit acting like a big child who got some money for Christmas, that is burning a hole in your pocket. People who are always in a rush and don't seem appreciative of a valued watch that a relative left them, just come across as all about the money.

It comes across as distasteful to some....if you were my nephew (who I am willing everything to, including my watch) I would be displeased with the calculation of what my estate was worth without graciousness. I expect more from my nephew.

There, the elephant is loose in the room, mods give me points if you must, but this whole attitude disgusts me. I would will everything to charity if I thought my nephew would act like that!!!!!

OK - well off you ride then...your posts/threads across this forum since you joined have suggested that you're not here to interact or engage with the community beyond selling your inheritance. You have undermined the FS rules with a thread complaining about them and after a moderator and others gave you sound advice you decided to come back with more disregard and antagonism.

Show us a picture of your Rolex.

I don't blame you for wanting to flip it for something that would be more useful to you now, but I would say to you that as time goes by and if you keep the watch, you will come to appreciate it as something more than a down payment on a new motorcycle.

Oh, well. I guess it's too late now.

May I respectfully request the mods to lock this thread, so it can fall into the oblivion of other troll-driven creations?
