I absolutely cannot believe NYC is not on this list. There is absolutely no way NYC didn't make it. There are thousands of bars and most have a steady clientele even on a Monday or Tuesday night. It seems that most social gatherings or work functions in NYC have alcohol involved.

Did we convert you to whisky? Great!
My choice as well, not even top 10. I had some wild times in DC.

Hubby and I contributed to the numbers as we stopped in at TWO of our favorite pubs on the walk home tonight! I love this city!

My three longest residences are all in the top 15:
San Diego (20 years) Minneapolis (22 years) Sioux City (10 years) (hiccup!)

And I always thought that Annapolis, MD would come in on top. A drinking city with a sailing problem! (or was it the other way around... hickup...)

Man, Seattle didn't even make the top ten. I've been stepping up my game recently, but I might as well quit drinking with dismal numbers per the list.

The midwest is well represented here! I think this may stem from the fact that we have little else to do!

Yes! Fargo was Number 3 in the past, but it's worked its way to Number 2. Having worked in a large Fargo ER for ten years, I can personally attest to Fargo's ranking.

I'm really surprised Nashville isn't on this list. I can't throw a stone around here without hitting a liquor store or a bar.

Last time I was there,(august this year) I saw about 14 police cars in 14 times corraling the under-influenced people downtown and taking them to a "drunk tank" so tourist won't be able to see them.
They are nice people(natives),they just like to drink... excessively.
