Joy Joy Joy A Daytona for Me

I have noticed the sudden influx of new Daytonas so here is my contribution - pics of my new black dial SS Daytona Though I had to order it interstate but paid $RRP and the wait was around 1 month. Maybe I just got lucky AND YES the protective stickers are still on. My excuse is that I was in too much of a hurry to take pics. Plastic warranty card and no hologram.

Great watch but myself stuck in the past to me there is only one Daytona thats a 6263/5.Now the 6263 dial with the black bezel and the modern movement, then I could be tempted to buy one.

Well in Sydney it was ... Don't bother. Though some around in the second hand dealers. So I had to search far and wide - Now if only I could see the time - damn those hands are hard to read ! Oh Well, its a ss Daytona - who cares about the time.

You Okes in SA are lucky!!
I'm now a respected member on my AD list
So I'm No 40 in line for the next Daytona
Apart from sun sea and beautiful women
you've also got the shortest line for a Daytona!!

PAM0048 though. My wrist too small to sport a real one

It certainly is easier to read the time even in the dark

But its just not a Rolex

Many, many ADs,thats the advantage .Nothing like a bit of competition to get the nice discounts .... No discount on the Daytona, but a year wait on average.

At todays exchange rate your newly aquired GMT would have been ... US$5092.. and thats the worst case scenario

Chris,
I figured it out only 40 people inyour area want a Daytona so there is no wait. I should fly down to visit your beautiful country and buy my long awaited Daytona black dial please.

Make no mistake, all those different ADs thrive.Demand is high. There is a lot of people with mucho $$$$.The advantage here is that there are many ADs within a 70 mile radius.I know where to shop for what.I dont buy the Daytona at the same AD,that I shop for the "base" models.I could get a black Daytona at less 5% from our MSRP,two weeks ago.I am not kidding.

MSRP is higher, but discounts on most models is also high. You also get your tax back as a foreigner.Another advantage, for you.

If ever you want to come and are looking for a Rolex.Let me know in advance and I can make some calls ... No problem.
