Enjoying the hunt too much

Am I alone on this? So I made up my mind; I know which model I want, found some great examples for sale by trusted sellers and got the money on hand. BUT! I'm enjoying the hunt, you know, searching and reading about the watch. Looking what is available etc. All prior watch purchases have been made very abruptly, kind off impulsive. This time I am having trouble pulling the trigger because I don't want this feeling to go away, it's great! Kinda like the feeling of a third date when you are finishing dessert and deciding what the next move should be, to the bar for more drinks or else. Am I alone in this? Any of you have the same fetish?
