Bracelet comparison OP vs Expl

Been reading about rave reviews of new Explorer bracelet and clasp. Is the current OP 116000 SS (various incarnations) bracelet inferior or was it updated on the last new model?

Some would argue whether or not the previous bracelet is inferior, but according the the Rolex site, the OP has an updated bracelet.

Update:

I may have spoken too soon. The Rolex site has the 36mm OP described as having the Oyster bracelet without the verbiage that would indicate an updated bracelet.

It should be noted that sometimes the website is not fully updated.

Yes, it has the new bracelet and it is light years ahead of the old bracelet. The picture above clearly shows the upgraded bracelet for the OP 116000 and 116034 models.

I never used the older version, but I really like this clasp. It's the same version as the one I have on my DJII.

I know they have made improvements to the bracelet but there sure isn't anything wrong with the one on my 16710 GMT.....

There's certainly nothing wrong with the old style clasps, but once you use the new ones, they're so good you'd never want to go back to the old ones. The 116000 has the new style dress clasp (no Easylink, however), whilst the new Explorer has a brushed GMT IIc-style sports clasp. Both bracelets have solid links throughout and feel very nice on the wrist. A big improvement over the clasps on the previous iterations on both models

The new bracelets are good, but there is nothing wrong with the old ones either. They were after all in production in one way or another over 60+ years.

I just wanted to clarify that when I said the new bracelet and clasp was better I meant in quality not necessarily function.
